Some time ago I started following a great channel on YouTube with instructions how to play different games. I found a party game called Spoons there. When I watched the short video I immediately decided to test the game on my students! I created two variation of the game. The first one for younger students to practice vocabulary and the second one to those older ones to practice grammar. My students like the game a lot and so do I!

Some time ago I taught my students Wag Your Tail song by SSS. I decided to prepare some movement cards to learn the song better. I started creating the cards and it turned out that there were 25 of them! They go with Wag Your Tail and Let's Go To The Zoo songs by SSS.

Walentynki można lubić lub nie ale lekcję z dziećmi jak najbardziej trzeba przeprowadzić ;) W dzisiejszym wpisie oczywiście karty obrazkowe do nauki walentynkowego słownictwa, bingo a także gra, którą wymyśliłam w trakcie tworzenia flashcardsów oraz kilka innych ciekawych rzeczy ;)

Winter Olympic Games!

Dziś w nowym poście opisze wam mój projekt, nad którym ostatnio pracowałam. Jako, że mamy piękną zimę i na pomorzu powoli zbliżają się ferie postanowiłam zrobić moim uczniom małą niespodziankę. Ostatnią lekcję przed feriami poświęcimy na dobrą zabawę i powtórkę słownictwa.

Arctic Animals - part 2

Wielkimi krokami zbliżam się do opublikowania mojego projektu. Przyznam, że jestem nim bardzo podekscytowana ponieważ dla moich dzieci jest to bardzo atrakcyjna forma zajęć. Ale jeszcze niczego nie zdradzam! :) Dziś kontynuacja tematu arktycznych zwierzaków - zarówno pomysły zabaw dla najmłodszych jak i  coś dla nieco starszych uczniów aby poćwiczyć pisanie.

Winter Lesson 2: Arctic Animals - part 1

Po przeprowadzeniu lekcji na temat sportów zimowych przyszedł czas na arktyczne zwierzaki.Tematyka ta będzie bardzo przydatna podczas mojego projektu, nad którym pracuje i który wkrótce pojawi się na stronie. Pomysłów mam sporo a czasu bardzo mało dlatego zdecydowałam się podzielić ten temat na dwa posty jeden dziś, drugi w piątek :)

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

It is said that there is always a first time for everything. Mine has come when it comes to the first post on my new blog. I must admit that it turned out to be quite a challenge! Eventually, I managed, and here it is. I'd been long thinking about the name of the blog. I looked far but it turned out that the idea was very close :) Mambiatka is my nickname which invented my uncle when I was in high school.

Ok but what do I need this blog for? The idea was to create my teaching portfolio and add it to my CV. I do not have much experience as a teacher, but I have many interesting ideas and great knowledge. Eventually, I decided I would share these ideas with others.

Ok, it's time to get to work! Today I will write you about a book called Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle.
